FISH of McHenry Food Pantry has a New Home!
We are thrilled to announce the move to a new location in the Spring of 2012! After 38 years of operating out of temporary locations, this is truly a dream come true for the volunteers who know the many challenges we have faced over the years. We are so grateful and blessed to have a new home!
Below is a sample of the brochure sent out in January of 2012 offering a one-time opportunity to contribute to our Building Campaign. McHenry Township received a grant from the State of Illinois in 2010 designated for a food pantry and approved the new township building for FISH of McHenry Food Pantry. FISH is responsible for completing all interior finishes and furnishings as well as all monthly utilities. Each donor will be recognized individually on an acrylic fish and displayed as a multicolored mural in the waiting area of our new food pantry. The size of the fish will be based on the amounts listed below. No donations that were intended for food will be used to complete the building. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated! Please be sure to designate (on your check) that your donation is to be used for the Building Campaign or Capital Fund. Come Join our School of Donors!
