"Fishing for Funds" Drive
Northern Illinois Food Bank
As you can see, we are able to buy much more food with YOUR money from the Northern Illinois Food Bank. A "Fishing for Funds" Drive is a great alternative as a way to raise money for FISH Food Pantry.
Our partnership with NIFB allows us to purchase food at the extremely low price of approximately $0.14 /lb. In addition, we participate in the (EFP) Emergency Food Program which offers free commodities of fresh and frozen foods. It is a great opportunity to give a little more to our clients during these difficult economic times.

Diaper Bank Partnership and Donations
FISH Food Pantry is working in partnership with the St. Paul Episcopal Church's Diaper Bank. As partners, we help distribute the diapers that the bank collects from donors in the community. The diaper bank is helping our community meet the needs of the disadvantaged with supplying them with diapers for the children. We ask for support in this effort by please making diaper donations to St. Paul Episcopal Church located at 3706 W St Paul Ave, McHenry. Sponsoring a Penny Drive can be as simple as placing a fish bowl out for all to contribute spare change. It is amazing to see how much the small change adds up once the bowl is filled! Several classrooms and businesses have had great success with this food drive alternative.
